Labeling :

When thoughts arise that are not sustainable, you label them a product of the primitive brain and put them aside.

Boxing Thoughts:

The act of taking away your attention from the thoughts that are not sustainable.

Rechaneling Libido :

Use masturbation to focus on consensual sex.  Non-consensual sex scenes will leak through but this will gradually diminish as you get better at it.

Believability – Reality factor:

Count on the non-sustainable thoughts to be believable and more real than reality.  That is a central element of the pathology and is brain based.  Accepting this as part of the disorder is important but it does not remove choice.  In other words, the goal is to make your own best interest (sustainable pleasures) the deciders of consciousness.

Neuro-plasticity:

The parts of the brain generating these primitive non-sustainable thoughts are trainable.  They are deep structures and so are more difficult to train but they can and have been trained.

RAM :

In sustainable living, arousal thinking takes up about 5 to 10 percent of think time.  It is usually stimulated by real persons engaged in real mutual excitation.  Normal living therefore is possible if you clear the table to make space for other things.  This thought justifies putting the non-sustainable thoughts aside.  It is a characteristic of non-sustainable thoughts to take up 60% to 80% of think time – because they are primitive and non-socialized.
